Job Description The Senior Manager, Accounting Transformation is a key member of the accounting leadership team, collaborating closely with other members of the Chief Accounting Officer's Organization, including Business Unit Controllers, Corporate Accounting, Tax, Internal Audit, and Financial Shared Services. Reporting to the Director of Accounting Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic transformation efforts across the organization. The role requires a proactive, self-driven individual with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including both corporate and business-level participants, to drive accounting transformation initiatives end-to-end.
Identify process gaps, document \"as-is\" design, and present the business case for the \"future state\", ensuring buy-in among key stakeholders along the way.
Enhance visibility of the company's financial results through focus on availability, quality & consistency of master data feeding Cornerstone's business systems.
Ensure compliance with company policies & procedures, including internal controls, while tailoring processes for optimal efficiency.
Provide ad-hoc support to Corporate and Business Unit leadership as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, with CPA or equivalent certification required. Master\'s degree and Public Accounting experience preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and internal controls.
Working knowledge of ERP systems, with experience integrating them with data warehouses and reporting platforms.
Proven history of establishing, documenting, and implementing well-defined accounting and control procedures, policies, and processes. Familiarity with Six-Sigma or Lean Finance concepts a plus.
Strong understanding of business operations and how they interface with corporate functions. Strong preference for experience within a manufacturing environment.
Exceptional communication skills, analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
Additional Information The US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000-$175,000 + bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
