At the Ideal Tridon Group, connections aren\'t just what we make-they\'re the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a Shipping Clerk - Associate for our Garden Grove, CA Plant. Schedule:
2nd Shift - 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (8 hours per day/ 5 days a week) plus shift differential of $1.00. Summary:
Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting that may include dust, debris, and can be loud at times. Responsible for preparing shipments and sometimes receiving incoming goods. Investigates and resolves shipping non-conformance. Must be able to operate forklift, read and understand written directions. Able to provide report data to the management team. Must follow all applicable safety procedures to avoid injuries, including requesting help from co-workers. Proper handling of finished parts and products to avoid injuries or damage, and follow all operational instructions when operating or using tools and equipment. Provide quality checks as determined. Job may require overtime and a flexible schedule, including reporting early and working late, including weekends from time to time.
Responsibilities
Order Fulfilment: Pulling, prepping, and staging orders to ship out using an RF scanner.
Packaging & Labeling: Packaging overlength freight via warehouse procedures and applying shipping labels/documents.
Inventory: Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing items and keeping the warehouse organized. Inspect manufactured goods for defects, quality, proper material and correct size and specifications.
Material Handler: Moving product from production to stock and organizing product using an RF scanner. Placed unused product back to stock.
SOPs: Follow standard operating procedures.
Housekeeping: Keep assigned area clean of debris and blockages daily.
Loader/Unloader: Safely load/unload product, double checking, and assist customers if needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Use/understand Microsoft Office (primarily Word, some Excel), label software, and TMS software.
Job Requirements
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Hi-Lo Certification preferred; will be trained and certified on the hi-lo.
One year of experience dealing with overlength freight is preferred.
One year of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery.
Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
Must have reliable transportation.
