Overview
Role: Senior SAP MM Consultant. Location: Austin, Texas. Full-time role with Infosys. This position is associated with NeerInfo Solutions for the posting context. Responsibilities
Requires expert contribution to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. Involves business process consulting, defining the problem, proposing and creating the solution, and guiding project processes and deliverables. Develop, configure and deploy the overall solution. Lead teams on project processes and deliverables; contribute to proposal development, client training and internal capability building; help detail the project scope. Shape value-adding consulting solutions to help clients meet changing global needs. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 6 years of experience with Information Technology. Location for this position is Austin, TX. This position may require travel and/or relocation. Preferred Qualifications
At least 4 years of experience in SAP projects, including 2 years of full lifecycle implementation projects in SAP MM. Able to analyze business requirements, provide conceptual and detailed design to meet business needs, perform necessary SAP configurations, write detailed specifications for ABAP custom programs, test and implement the automated solution. Strong hands-on experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/Idoc Integration and system integration areas. Knowledge and hands-on experience of B2B Integration and system-to-system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interface methods. Extensive knowledge of SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces and user exits. Experience in Master data related projects and Enterprise Portal is desirable. Ability to read ABAP codes is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; analytical and coordination abilities. Experience with project management and planning/coordination skills. Experience with writing functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces. Experience in Logistics execution and working with business users to define scope and gather requirements; testing and rollout of the final product. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously; ability to work with cross-functional teams. Employment and Location
