We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join our dynamic legal team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about creditors' rights to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, high-performance environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse bankruptcy caseload, providing legal advice to clients, and representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Responsibilities
Representing secured and unsecured creditors, committees, trustees, debtors, and other parties in bankruptcy proceedings. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of bankruptcy-related documents including motions, objections, proofs of claim, and plans of reorganization. Providing legal advice to clients regarding all aspects of bankruptcy law, including the rights, obligations, and potential liabilities of creditors. Monitoring developments in bankruptcy law and informing clients of potential impacts on their rights and interests. Collaborating with other members of the legal team to develop effective strategies for protecting clients' interests in bankruptcy proceedings. Participating in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals, as necessary. Conducting legal research and preparing detailed legal memoranda on bankruptcy-related issues. Managing multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting strict deadlines. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. 3-6 years of experience practicing bankruptcy law, with a strong emphasis on creditors' rights. Extensive knowledge of federal bankruptcy law and procedure, as well as related state laws. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex legal problems. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage a large caseload and prioritize tasks effectively. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
