Citymeals on Wheels is seeking an Associate, Events & Partnerships to support planning and execution of high-profile fundraising events and partnerships. The role supports signature events, partnerships and culinary collaborations and leads peer-to-peer fundraising efforts, including the Citymeals Marathon team. Base pay and Location

We are seeking a highly organized, creative and relationship-driven Associate to join our Events & Partnerships team. This role combines hospitality, food culture and fundraising in service of a meaningful mission. About the Role

Citymeals seeks a meticulous and enthusiastic Associate, Events & Partnerships to support the planning and execution of fundraising events and partnerships, including galas, brand collaborations and community campaigns. The Events & Partnerships team generates over $4.8 million annually to support meal delivery to older New Yorkers in need. The Associate will support strategic planning and day-to-day operations, including signature events, partnerships and culinary collaborations, and will lead peer-to-peer fundraising efforts. The Ideal Candidate

A self-starter with experience in social impact, events or hospitality. You should be comfortable working both front-of-house and behind-the-scenes, liaising with chefs and sponsors while managing spreadsheets, tracking deliverables and coordinating events. You bring energy, precision and enthusiasm to a mission-focused organization. Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and logistical support for all fundraising events and partnership initiatives. Solicit support from chefs, restaurants, corporate sponsors and food and beverage donors. Oversee day-of event execution, including setup, check-in, guest relations and breakdown. Assist with development of auction packages and use of digital platforms like OneCause. Lead Citymeals’ peer-to-peer fundraising efforts, including the Citymeals Marathon team, from recruitment through fundraising success. Assist with event marketing materials, communications and social media content. Track sponsor benefits, donor recognition and in-kind contributions to ensure fulfillment and stewardship. Generate donor tax acknowledgment letters and maintain records in donor CRM platforms. Participate in organizational activities such as meal deliveries and events at the Distribution Center in the Bronx. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in events, hospitality, fundraising, donor relations or project management. Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, with confidence working with donors, chefs, vendors and board members. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools (Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce) is a plus. Experience with Monday.com and fundraising platforms (e.g., OneCause) preferred. Willingness to work evenings or weekends for events (overtime eligibility as needed). Availability to work 3 days/week from Midtown Manhattan office (schedule may vary). Why Join Citymeals
