Insurance Defense Associate Attorney
to join our client’s growing Jacksonville office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense, with at least 2-8 years of experience handling a broad range of litigation matters. Handle insurance defense cases from inception through trial, including personal injury, property damage, and other liability matters. Provide strategic legal counsel and defend clients in litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts. Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials, ensuring the best possible outcome. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy, including settlement discussions and trial preparation. Communicate directly with clients, adjusters, and other stakeholders, ensuring consistent updates on case progress. Research and analyze legal issues to provide sound advice to clients. Maintain accurate and timely case files and billing records. Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school. 2-8 years of experience in insurance defense litigation. Strong knowledge of Florida insurance laws and regulations. Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Proven ability to manage a caseload, work independently, and meet deadlines. Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation. Admission to the Florida Bar. Employment details
