Complete a qualified Job Safety Plan (JSP) that identifies each job task and the associated hazards, risks, and mitigation controls. Determine the materials needed for basic, intermediate and advanced scaffolds. During scaffold dismantling, receive materials from the ground and place into a rack for transport back to the scaffold yard. During scaffold erection, unload and stage materials as directed and pass material to a scaffold crew from the ground. Inspect scaffold components for damage and/or defects. Lead a crew during all scaffold activities, including hazard recognition and mitigation, site preparation, unloading and staging of materials, and site housekeeping. Lead tool box talks with the crew. Maintain a clean and organized jobsite free from unnecessary hazards related to scaffold work. Mentor and develop other members of the scaffold crew. Organize and maintain a scaffold yard, including unloading of racks after dismantling a scaffold. Prepare work site for erecting and/or dismantling a scaffold. Read and interpret blueprints, instructions, drawings and other work planning specifications. Utilize scaffold tools while erecting or dismantling a scaffold as part of a crew, including setting up, leveling and squaring the base, attaching bracing, horizontals, ladders, toe boards, swing gates, etc. Description Of Essential Duties

Leading a crew during all scaffold activities. Qualifications
At least three years of scaffold experience is preferred. Has an understanding of BrandSafways products. High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent. Experience using forklift, hammer, pry-bar, banding tools, and power tools (drill motor, screw guns). Good oral communication skills. Ability to do basic math. Ability to present a clean and professional image. Scaffold experience in the commercial or industrial markets is desirable. Physical Demands
Frequently required to talk, hear, and use hands to handle or touch objects, tools, or controls. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (up to 100 pounds with assistance) of scaffolding equipment; may include lifting above shoulder level. Carrying/wearing harness and work belt weighing 25-50 pounds while erecting and dismantling scaffolding. Climb onto trailers or trucks and onto racks to secure and move equipment; climb ladders to access scaffolding in elevated places. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment
The employee must be available at non-traditional hours to complete projects according to contract or job requirements. The employee regularly works at heights, may be exposed to fumes, dust, heat, and chemicals, and may work in outdoor weather conditions and confined spaces. The noise level is typically moderate to loud. Travel may be required.
