Job Description:
Pay Range: $75hr - $80hr Responsibilities:
Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for insurance applications, including portals, mobile apps, and servicing platforms. Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to inform design decisions. Translate insurance business requirements into functional design components and user interfaces. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and testers to ensure design feasibility and consistency. Apply accessibility standards and responsive design principles across devices and platforms. Maintain design systems and reusable components aligned with insurance branding and compliance guidelines. Analyze user behavior and feedback to optimize workflows and improve digital touchpoints. Support iterative design processes within agile delivery models. Required Skills:
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Axure. Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture. Experience designing for insurance platforms, including policy issuance, claims processing, and customer onboarding. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and frontend development constraints. Ability to apply accessibility standards and regulatory guidelines relevant to insurance. Exposure to analytics tools and user behavior tracking methods. Experience in creating responsive and adaptive design solutions. Knowledge of design systems and component-based UI frameworks. Preferred Qualifications:
Background in designing digital experiences for life, health, or general insurance products. Experience with personalization, self-service features, and customer journey mapping. Familiarity with agile methodologies and design sprints. Certification in UX design or human-centered design practices. Work Environment:
