This role involves serving as the primary liaison between clients, investors, and internal departments to facilitate the review, verification, and resolution of any issues related to loan files.
The Due Diligence Account Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and completeness of mortgage loan packages for timely funding and delivery.**What You’ll Do*** Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and investors throughout the due diligence process* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure a positive experience and long-term partnership* Address and resolve client inquiries or issues promptly and professionally* Coordinate and manage the review process for loans, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate* erify compliance with company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements, including non-QM standardsV* Identify and communicate deficiencies or discrepancies in loan files and work with stakeholders to resolve them* Work closely with underwriting, operations, and compliance teams to facilitate the due diligence process* Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on the status of loan reviews and address any outstanding items* Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and efficient loan file resolution* Provide regular status reports to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders* Identify trends or recurring issues in the due diligence process and recommend improvements* Implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the process* Stay current with industry regulations and investor guidelines to ensure ongoing compliance**What We Need*** Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred)* Minimum of 3+ years of experience in mortgage lending, due diligence, or a related field* Strong understanding of mortgage loan products, non- QM loans, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and deadlines* Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset* Proficiency in mortgage software systems and MS Office Suite* Attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and resolve loan file discrepancies**Our Perks****Flexible Time to Recharge – Personalized Time Off for What Matters (because rest isn't one-size fits all)
