Workplace Type Hybrid Work Schedule
Secondary Location Fully remote work may be considered for candidates that reside in areas outside our footprint. Preferred candidate will reside in Virginia, North Carolina or Maryland. Location Fairfax Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description The Associate Advisor‘s role is to provide analytical rigor, designing financial plans and constructing portfolios in support of Wealth and Senior Wealth Advisors' clients. The Associate Advisor (AA) bridges the gap between client facing functions and back office administration. This position is designed to develop the AA into a Wealth Advisor. The AA works closely with the Wealth Advisors and Senior Wealth Advisors of the firm, focusing primarily on support in client meetings (taking notes, generating required documentation and presentations, and coordinating attendees), managing the portfolio analysis and financial plan inputs/design, constructing marketing presentations, managing all prospect/client meeting preparations and assisting the Client Relationship Specialists with client. Position Requirements
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Finance Intermediate level computer/software skills/experience, including Microsoft Office applications Ability to learn new software systems quickly • Knowledge of and experience with database functions Demonstrate progressive ability to work independently requiring less and less supervision by more experienced staff Ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and working under pressure Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Effectively presents information and responds to questions from internal and external client Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Finance or related field CFP certification 1 or more years of directly related experience in financial advising Shift Days EOE Statement Our Firm’s policy is to provide equal opportunity for employment to all individuals regardless of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
