25-537.B - IT Systems Analyst page is loaded 25-537.B - IT Systems Analyst Apply locations Houston, TX time type Full time posted on Posted 9 Days Ago job requisition id R005286 Job Objective: To facilitate best practices with regard to enhancements, processes, security and application support of Finance and Accounting software (F&A Applications) and its users; and to facilitate support with SAP either directly or indirectly through ETL processes and/or integrations; and to facilitate support of integrations with technical or operations software needs.

Essential Job Responsibilities: Serves as internal application support for Accounting, Land and Production. Experience with Upstream Accounting or Land Packages preferred Serves as the primary support between Business Users and document management software. Serves as back-up Liaison between Business Users and F&A Applications for enhancements and troubleshooting. Performs regression testing of new program enhancements. Assists in performing weekly and monthly Process checks within F&A Applications to ensure efficiencies and data quality. Assists in performance monitoring of F&A Application databases to include SQL Server, Oracle, and other proprietary databases. Assists in Security and Internal Audit coordination for master file audit monitoring. Assists in upgrades of F&A applications as required Serves as Coordinator for Business Workflow Processes documentation. Provides first level Report Writing for efficiencies (PowerBI, QQM, EQB, Excel add-ins, Test for completeness and accuracies, etc.). Serves as backup for acquisition related data loads in F&A Applications Assists with other adhoc projects that fall within the F&A Applications responsibility Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment, and innovation. Supports company vision and mission. Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work. Other Job Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: Minimum of three (3) years of oil and gas accounting or financial analysis support experience. Electronic Document Management experience preferred. Documentum or FileTrail experience preferred. Ability to write accurate SQL Server T-SQL or Oracle PL\SQL queries required. Ability to create Python ETL scripts as needed to support projects required. Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other departments. Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision. Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex financial information into an organized and presentable manner. Excellent administrative and organizational skills. Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:

Required : Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook) Preferred: Python, Visual Studio\Code, PowerBI

Education Requirements: Required :
