Act primarily as Officer in Charge (OIC) as a team member for assigned audits. May act as Audit Principal (AP) for low to medium complexity audits. Work with other audit teams as required. Carry out IT audit projects, focusing on Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, Networks, and IT Applications. As OIC/AP, oversee execution, planning, and reporting. Understand end-to-end business/unit/process risks; develop a risk-based audit approach and schedule timing and resources. Ensure audit results are gathered, determine root causes, prepare/review audit findings for management, and follow up on corrective actions. Share relevant information with other audit areas. Support a client-focused culture, deepen client relationships, and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Consider the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities and decisions. Plan, document, and seek agreement on project approach; confirm conclusions in writing. Ensure Scotiabank standards and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Code of Ethics are upheld in all assignments. Build and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders and regulators as required. Coordinate with other groups; complete timely review of workpapers; clearly document control weaknesses with root-cause recommendations and communicate to management. Support ongoing monitoring to stay abreast of changes in business, industry, and regulations; identify themes or systemic issues affecting risk assessment. Support a high-performance environment with a people strategy that attracts, develops, and motivates the team; foster an inclusive work environment; manage succession and development planning. Meet Department training requirements. Perform risk assessment of IT environments, including general IT controls and automated application controls; evaluate cybersecurity, disaster recovery, digital, privacy, and cloud security for design and operating effectiveness. What You’ll Bring

University/Post-secondary degree in Business or equivalent. Relevant Audit or business certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM). At least 7+ years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of operations and regulatory environments for applicable units. Ability to work in high ambiguity and rapidly changing environments. Proficiency in applying Scotiabank methodology and risk-based auditing standards. Strong analytical skills with data analytics or visualization tools. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. People management and coaching/development skills. Curiosity mindset. Salary Range

New York: 117,400 - 224,700 Candidates hired will be subject to the pay range for the location. Additional total compensation and benefits details will be provided during the hiring process. Interested?
