H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a professional, organized, and adaptable Senior SharePoint Developer including Power Platforms (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) and other Microsoft 365 tools (MS Teams, Dynamics, Planner, One Drive). The role requires functional skills with cross‑platform knowledge, technical project management, documentation, automation, stakeholder analysis, requirements gathering, and effective communication amongst different teams. The candidate will be part of a cohesive team of application developers who extend the out of the box capabilities of SharePoint on‑premises and SharePoint Online (SPO) within Azure. This team develops in‑house web applications and customizations to existing business applications to meet mission needs, including leveraging the SharePoint platform to automate business processes, encourage knowledge sharing, and improve productivity. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in analysis, design, hands‑on development and delivery of web‑based applications utilizing SharePoint with proficiencies in REST API, .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, InfoPath, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SharePoint Client‑Side Object Model (CSOM), HTML, CSS, and SPFx. The candidate will inform and support the planning effort and migration from SharePoint SIPR on‑premises to SPO. Prior SharePoint migration experience within the federal space is preferred. The candidate will also provide customer support for issues and problems with existing solutions. Responsibilities
Determining the requirements and resources necessary for migrating to SPO; Evaluating and documenting the current design of SIPR SharePoint on‑premise, including its taxonomy, metadata parameters, security configuration, navigation, site hierarchy and permission structure, and providing recommendations for the design and creation of the separation between development, testing and production environments in SPO; Documenting current SharePoint architecture, assessing the health of current SIPR SharePoint on‑premise implementation, developing a roadmap for migration, modernization and stabilization; Providing general assessment of existing workflows and a strategy for transitioning each workflow to SPO; Providing a recommended solution for handling incompatible content and functionality that will not work online such as JavaScript, custom pages, web parts, and discontinued features; Examining Microsoft and third‑party software applications (e.g., CorasWorks, Fab 40, InfoPath forms, integrated calendar apps) currently used and providing recommendations for transitioning to SPO; Establishing standards and best practices for SPO development; Coordinating with the Contract Manager to ensure that the assessment is staffed appropriately; Leading assessment sessions to establish a common understanding of the work plan, dependencies and responsibilities, project deliverables, and work products; Redesigning custom SharePoint client‑side solutions from SharePoint 2013/2016 to SPO using advanced features of SPO; Creating Metadata Term Store, Catalogs, Term‑driven navigation, Display Templates; Developing front end using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, XSLT, XML, and REST API; Implementing and customizing SharePoint‑based solutions using best practices; Working with SharePoint Designer workflows; Supporting Service Desk Tickets assigned by management; Collaborating with Project Manager/Solutions Architect to design and implement application features; Helping develop test cases and document technical features of the application; Using best practices when writing code; Evaluating workflows involving incoming emails; Designing and generating reports and dashboards; Developing user and administration guides for any custom developed applications; Troubleshooting issues with the current application and contributing to new product features; Supporting all program/project planning and milestone development; Providing weekly status reports on SharePoint tasks and activities; Briefing leadership on progress. Required Qualifications
CompTIA Security+ certification Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related IT degree plus at least 3 years of experience (8 years of experience can replace education requirement) 7+ years dedicated experience as a SharePoint Developer, administering and migrating SharePoint features/solutions 3+ years of jQuery and/or JavaScript (5 years preferred) 3+ years of SharePoint Web Services/SharePoint Services (5 years preferred) 3+ years of SharePoint REST API (5 years preferred) Experience with modern SharePoint architecture and implementation Ability to identify necessary interfaces between enterprise solution applications and legacy IT environments Working knowledge of interoperability of SharePoint 2013/2016 and SPO with other Office products Working knowledge of advanced features of SharePoint 2013/2016, SPO, and MS Power Platform Working knowledge of InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, and SharePoint workflows Working knowledge of .NET, REST API, JavaScript, jQuery, InfoPath, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SharePoint CSOM, HTML, CSS, SPFx, and PowerShell to enhance look and feel and functionality Hands‑on experience consuming Web Services using SOAP, REST, JSON Hands‑on knowledge of configuring SharePoint WebParts (List Filters, WebPart Filters, Search and Data Connections) Advanced debugging skills using F12 and Google developer tools and Fiddler Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent organizational skills Desired Qualifications
Working knowledge of Office 365 architecture, Power Apps, Power Automate Experience with SharePoint 2013/2016 migration to SPO, including CEWP, SEWP, workflows and InfoPath forms Experience with SPFx and C# Experience with integrating third‑party tools like Nintex, Metalogix, AvePoint, etc. Experience with SharePoint app model Working knowledge of C#.NET or VB.NET, Visual Studio 2000s, SharePoint Object Model, Web Services, XML SharePoint certification (2013, 2016 or SPO) Clearance Qualifications
