Overview
PacArctic is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individuals to perform the duties of an Access Control/Security Specialist with intimate knowledge of visitor procedures. The Specialist will support PAC and our government customer at the FBI LAB Quantico location. These positions require a Top Secret clearance. Please do not apply if you do not possess a TS level clearance. The position hours are 2pm – 10pm Monday through Friday or 10pm – 6am Sunday night through Friday morning. This position may require that you work on holidays; employees who work on holidays have the flexibility to use the holiday time-off on an alternate date. You are required to take and pass a CI polygraph. The CI polygraph will be provided by FBI management. Responsibilities
Access Control Security Specialists (AC/SS) must be flexible and willing to alternate his or her schedule in order to staff any of the escort desks during the designated working hours. The Contractors may be required to shift their schedule or report to an alternate location without significant advance notice. Demonstrating cooperation and flexibility when directed to staff an alternate escort desk during any of the identified work hours is necessary. Use the FBI access control databases, including the FBI's Phoenix and the SOPU Gatekeeper visitor database. Process incoming Visitor Access Requests (VAR) and enter information into the appropriate database; coordinate VAR information with the appropriate FBI Security Division personnel. Prepare electronic communications (ECs) in Sentinel as required. Monitor CCTV video, conduct perimeter checks, and assist with escort duties as needed. Coordinate with Quantico Security Operations Center (QSOC) for emergency response and alarm activity. Process FBI Limited Access Request (LAR) paperwork. Issue badges and IDs in accordance with policy and utilize the badge system as directed. Screen visitors with X-ray and metal detector; complete trainings to properly handle equipment. Must possess final Top-Secret personnel security clearances and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) special accesses. Minimum education: bachelor’s degree in any field and three years security experience in relevant fields, or five years in any security-related field. Proficient in creating complex spreadsheets (Excel), preparing briefings (PowerPoint), and using Word and Adobe Acrobat. Excellent verbal and written communication; able to provide security briefings/debriefings and comprehensive written communications. Commitment to professional, customer-service oriented performance.
