Data Center Security Manager, AWS DC Security
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Provide a safe and secure environment for our people, assets and customer data. Physical security of our Data Center (DC) sites and protecting the integrity of all Red Medias. Security access control of our DC sites. Responding to security incidents. Writing reports on security incidents, system anomalies, and other security‑related matters. Testing and maintaining security systems, such as alarms, security devices, and cameras. Training employees on data center security procedures. Identifying and assessing potential security risks to the data center. Developing and implementing plans to mitigate security risks. Promoting security awareness among employees and visitors. ABOUT THE TEAM
About AWS BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in security or related fields; e.g., compliance, logistics, transportation, facilities, among others; 2+ years of commercial or industrial work experience. Experience in using data and metrics to improve processes and/or customer satisfaction. Must have the ability to be on‑call to support out of business hours emergencies remotely and on‑site. Must be prepared and have the ability to work and travel to Data Centers in the Cluster and abroad. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience using CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems. Management experience of vendors. Has used investigation techniques to deep dive on events.
