What you'll do
Requirement And Scoping Analysis
Requires knowledge of risk analysis methodologies, cost analysis, business objectives, classification of requirements, domain knowledge, user stories concepts, functional and nonfunctional requirements, scoping and estimation.
To explore relevant products/solutions from an existing repertoire which can address business/technical needs.
Assess gaps/updates/modifications between the customer/business expectations and the existing product/solution in case of agile methodology for the iteration.
Classify the requirements into applicable types (Functional, NonFunctional, Derived, Imposed, Emergent, etc.).
Anticipate the solution risks/issues during requirements gathering; inform relevant stakeholders and recommend corrective steps.
Contribute to the creation of user stories for component/application/complex for agile methodology.
Solution Design
Requires knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, scalability, design patterns, disaster recovery, tech stacks, MVP, nonfunctional requirements, and detailed design.
To assist in design of solutions such that the processes and applications work in tandem for specific components/modules of a product.
Evaluate tradeoffs while designing a component based on the business requirements.
Assist in conversion of high level design to detailed design using mock screens, pseudo codes, and detailed functional logic of the modules for specific modules/components of a product.
Coding
Requires knowledge of coding standards and guidelines, coding languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C), frameworks, platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, iOS), tools and environments, telemetry, CI/CD, SDLC, and security standards.
Guide the team on coding patterns, languages and frameworks in line with evolving trends; drive scalability and security; implement telemetry features; conduct code reviews; ensure nonfunctional requirements such as low maintenance, high availability and high scalability; create minimalistic code and scripts for automation in CI/CD; and support other related activities.
Testing
Requires knowledge of test case preparation, objectives, strategy, types, and tools (e.g., Selenium, Jira, Eggplant); test environments; telemetry and code coverage; test coverage.
Translate customer requirements into test strategy; determine testing tools and environments; identify scope and method of testing; ensure test coverage for functionality, performance, security, integration, data migration, and accessibility.
Execute test cases to test the code and detect defects across the product.
Program Monitoring
Requires knowledge of program metrics, program reporting, logging tools and processes, and CI/CD.
Monitor and evaluate progress against milestones; provide inputs to stakeholders regarding schedule, progress, health issues/risks and dependencies; ensure adherence to the CI/CD process.
Defect Management and Troubleshooting
Requires knowledge of defect lifecycle, defect tracking tools and methodologies, defect reporting, regression testing, and root cause analysis.
Track and analyze defects for components/modules; carry out regression testing; analyze defects from past projects to avoid recurrence; troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks.
DevOps Orientation
Requires knowledge of operating systems, software maintenance tools and techniques, application monitoring, debugging tools, telemetry, and design methodologies.
Conduct maintenance procedures for applications; monitor and analyze metrics; evaluate change requests; lead multiple business plans and projects; supervise and develop associates; promote ethics and integrity; support open culture and inclusion.
Minimum Qualifications
Option 1: Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years\' experience in software engineering or related area. Salary and Benefits The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
