Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of a secure, governed, and audit-ready Azure-based data platform supporting enterprise and public sector clients. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services, data ingestion, governance, metadata management, and cross-platform integration. You will architect a centralized data lake and analytics environment leveraging Microsoft Fabric, enabling ingestion from diverse source systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The platform will support downstream analytics, compliance, and monitoring while integrating with ERP systems, legacy platforms, and external data sources. Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, including recent Azure-native projects 3+ years architecting secure, compliant solutions for regulated industries or government Strong knowledge of metadata strategy, lineage, and governance frameworks Experience integrating ERP, financial, or public sector systems a plus Excellent client-facing communication and documentation skills Preferred: Microsoft Azure certifications (Solutions Architect / Data Engineer) Desired Skills & Experience

Define and design end-to-end Azure data lake architecture using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI). Develop integration strategies with ERP, ODBC, legacy, and flat-file systems. Architect secure ingestion pipelines with refresh scheduling, delta detection, and lineage tracking. Implement encryption, RBAC, and secure access controls using Azure Key Vault, Private Endpoints, and Entra ID. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, IITAA). Lead data governance implementation via Microsoft Purview or equivalent tools for metadata tagging and classification. The Offer
