RGP (Resources Connection)
As a Staff Accounting Consultant, you will support the month-end close process, perform financial reporting and audit compliance, and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
What You Will Work On
Support month-end close process, including maintaining the general ledger and sub-ledgers, reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, and analyzing account variances. Communicate and follow up with business partners to ensure that open/outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner. Ensure appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP. Support in the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly reports, as well as review policies and procedures to ensure SOX compliance. Help identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements. What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred. CPA, CMA, CIA or CFE preferred. 0-5+ years of related experience. Public accounting, related consulting or industry experience preferred. Knowledge of US GAAP. Experience with large ERP systems and strong MS Office skills, especially MS Excel. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with a strong client service orientation, time management, and project delivery skills. What You Can Expect
