This position is responsible for assisting with the tax provision process, the preparation of income and franchise tax returns, performing the REIT compliance/testing, and reviewing the filing and preparation of tax-related issues for non-US subsidiaries and activities.
**What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities*** Prepare and analyze REIT testing and compliance.* Review various municipal and federal tax returns for foreign locations.* Assist with various federal, state, and foreign tax audits.* Respond to federal and state information requests and notices.* Prepare quarterly income tax projections and quarterly estimated state tax payments.* Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and maintenance of appropriate documentation.* Perform research on international and US tax issues and document issues related to technical domestic and foreign tax issues.**What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements*** Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, specialization in Tax preferred; and at least 5 years of corporate tax experience, in a publicly held company or an accounting firm. REIT, and experience working with international tax preferred.* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred**Physical Demands:**
