About The Role
Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is looking for a Full-time Float Teller/New Accounts Representative for our Salt Lake City County Branches.
Responsibilities
Receive and process customer financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, credit card payments, cashier's checks, fund transfers and sell gift cards. Maintain and balance cash or teller drawer daily, while adhering to assigned transaction limits.
Become proficient in the Bank's products and services enabling you to provide solution-based banking services and products for the customer needs.
Resolve customer concerns that are within your authority and escalate to appropriate manager when needed. Answer phones, process wire transfers, stop payments, check orders, and create debit cards.
Provide excellent customer service and deepen relationships by following the established customer service standards.
Open and close branch as schedule deems necessary.
Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frame(s). It is the individual learners' responsibility to ensure that they understand the information given to them in each training. If the learner does not understand the information given, they need to reach out to their supervisor for further clarification or additional training.
Will actively work on the Summit Progression Program to learn and develop assigned skills and increase proficiency.
Schedule M-F 8:45-6:15 with occasional Sat. 9-1.
About You QUALIFICATIONS:
Zero - six months of similar or related experience.
A high school education or GED.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
Must be good with detail to work with numbers and names.
Need excellent customer service skills.
Need good computer skills.
Employee must be capable of interacting calmly and professionally with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds at various levels within and outside of the organization.
Employee must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
Ability to adapt to change (e.g. shifting priorities, demands, and timelines) through time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
