The anticipated salary range for this position is $20.60–$26 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant work experience, the skills required for the role, internal equity, market competitiveness, and budget considerations. Full-time, 40 hours per week Shift times:

Primarily Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. Some regular evening and weekend hours required for volunteer events. Location:

Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Senior Organizing Manager, the Senior Organizing Associate is responsible for building a network of activists and leaders in Minnesota. Responsibilities include recruiting new supporters, engaging activists, developing volunteer leaders, and managing youth organizing chapters. The role supports the programmatic goals of Planned Parenthood North Central States and the Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota Action Fund. The position is based in the Twin Cities and may be hybrid or in-person with some remote flexibility and regular events. This role advances our mission of advancing and protecting sexual and reproductive healthcare for all and may perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree Three years of experience in a professional role involving issue or legislative advocacy, grassroots community organizing, or political campaigns Understanding of intersectional social justice and equity, both interpersonally and systemically Commitment to racial justice and equity, interpersonally and systemically Based in the Twin Cities with in-person work required; hybrid or fully in-person arrangement Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Implement outreach, organizing, and voter engagement plans in Minnesota Develop and execute advocacy and electoral strategies to advance programmatic goals Recruit and engage supporters, build volunteer leadership, and supervise Minnesota youth organizing chapters on high school and college campuses Hold events to meet organizing, base-building, advocacy, and electoral goals (educational events, trainings, phone banks, text banks, door knocks, actions, rallies, community care events) Ensure data collection and reporting requirements are met Build a program centered on equity, racial justice, and intersectionality Recruitment: Recruit new supporters and volunteers; assist in plans to generate potential supporters and leaders Create opportunities to expand reach, meet new potential supporters, and develop leaders Mobilization: Develop and execute advocacy and organizing plans to engage supporters Maintain a consistent event schedule to drive participation Mobilize people to vote in elections Build relationships with volunteers, partner organizations, and community leaders Oversee campus chapters and supervise youth leaders Leadership Development: Develop plans to deepen engagement and commitment to PPNCS and PPMNSAF Identify and train new volunteer leaders Create leadership opportunities for skill development and ownership Partner with volunteer leaders to create community-building, volunteer-led events Grassroots Advocacy and Organizing: Support grassroots campaign plans aligned with programmatic goals Engage supporters through 1:1 meetings, phone banking, canvassing, protests, rallies, and online advocacy Collaborate with the communications team to develop digital content Accurately record data to track work and meet reporting requirements Engage volunteers in advocacy and electoral initiatives, including issue education, legislative engagement, candidate education, and voter turnout About Us: At PPNCS, we protect, promote, and provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare with empathy, care, and respect.
