Senior Software Developer
role focusing on leading and supporting the full lifecycle development of enterprise-wide systems and applications. Leverage advanced software engineering principles to architect, build, test, and maintain mission-critical solutions that impact functionality, security, and performance of systems supporting high-priority government operations. Responsibilities
Research, design, and develop new software systems and enterprise applications. Apply advanced software development expertise to all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Conduct in-depth analysis and debugging of systems to refine functionality and improve performance. Maintain and enhance existing software through updates and optimizations aligned with customer requirements. Create clear, maintainable documentation to support long-term usability and compliance. Provide expert-level insights on system architecture, code quality, and development strategy. Deliver progress reports and analytical insights on project status, risks, and outcomes. Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience with ServiceNow platform development (minimum 1 year); plus JavaScript, object-oriented design, and enterprise software development. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED and 19 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 14 years of relevant experience Preferred Experience
Experience with advanced ServiceNow modules, such as Configuration Asset Management (CAM), Risk Management Framework (RMF), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), and Security Operations (SecOps). Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 and DoD RMF practices. Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Administrator, Implementation Specialist). Certifications
CompTIA Security+ CE (DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant) Clearance Requirement
