In this role, you will collaborate with leaders across the organization, engaging teams through rounding, leading regulatory strategies, and guiding departments toward survey success with The Joint Commission (TJC), CMS, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and other accrediting bodies.

Summary Reporting to the Chief Quality Officer, the Director of Regulatory & Accreditation provides strategic leadership to ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and accrediting standards across the academic medical center and affiliated outpatient clinics. This role oversees the regulatory team and is accountable for maintaining continuous alignment with CMS, The Joint Commission, PA Department of Health, HHS/HRSA, and other applicable agencies.

Responsibilities Lead regulatory strategies and survey readiness efforts across the organization. Engage with leaders and staff through rounding. Guide departments toward survey success with TJC, CMS, PA Department of Health, and other accrediting bodies. Oversee the regulatory team and maintain alignment with applicable agencies.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree related to healthcare Seven (7) years of experience directly related to regulatory/accreditation Five (5) years of management responsibility Extensive knowledge of Joint Commission (TJC) standards, CMS, PA Department of Health, and HHS/HRSA regulations

Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP), or Certified Joint Commission Professional (CJCP) Experience leading regulatory/accreditation programs in a large organization or academic medical center Experience managing a complex portfolio of program accreditations and certifications
