Position Summary:
Target Field features a multimedia experience with numerous displays, TVs, and events. The Manager of Scoreboard and Event Production will create content (graphic, video, animated) for various shows and operate production gear to capture and distribute content. A passion for baseball and using technology to create memorable moments is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create high-end video content using Adobe suite products for all Target Field displays.
Oversee digital asset storage and archiving of highlights.
Manage production needs for non-game day events, including staffing, event support, and A/V requests.
Facilitate ENG shoots for press conferences, interviews, and other production needs.
Understand control room systems, including Ross Xpression, Ross Dashboard, and Daktronics Show Control.
Coordinate with the Broadcast Engineer to maintain equipment and updates.
Contribute to production planning, researching new technologies and operations.
Execute gameday productions as a producer, director, or control room operator when needed.
Other production-related duties as assigned.
Requirements, Experience, and Education:
3-5 years of video editing experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere.
1-3 years of production experience in a live environment, with experience using Xpression, Daktronics, switchers, cameras, and replays.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of baseball, including statistics, game scoring, terminology, and current roster.
Ability to take creative direction, work independently, and be self-motivated.
Strong listening and oral communication skills, with a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
Able to work under tight deadlines and extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with ENG shooting, lighting, and audio.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range is $70,000 to $80,000 annually, with a performance-based bonus. Benefits include medical, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and complimentary tickets.
