We are seeking an exceptional leader to commandeer sportsbook operations at Hard Rock Bet. Reporting to the SVP Sportsbook and collaborating with our VP Sportsbook Revenue, the VP Sportsbook Operations will be an experienced executive who has likely mastered their trade from the trenches up to have a deep knowledge of sportsbook operations, its dependencies, its tripwires and its potential to deliver a continuous flow of subtle brilliance that elevates a sportsbook above and beyond its competitors. Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for the sportsbook operations division, including oversight of regulatory compliance, user experience, front end management, content optimization, real time engagement execution and operational efficiency Directly inspire, mentor, and innovate with a portfolio of specialized teams including Regulatory Audit & Integrity, Sports Ops, Product Ops, Planning, and User Experience QA Ensure consistent high-performance execution across all operational channels Develop and implement operational standards, processes, and KPIs to optimize business performance Establish a culture of curiosity, innovation, high achievement among your direct reports and their teams Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the sportsbook Immerse yourself in our data culture, be hands on in the data, driving your teams to operate rationally, experimentally, creatively Collaborate with the Revenue team to align operational strategies with revenue goals Exude composure in a crisis and be present, visible, decisive, collaborative Qualifications

5 years of progressive experience in sportsbook operations, with at least 3 years in senior leadership at a regulated US sportsbook Extensive knowledge of sportsbook platforms, betting markets, and operational requirements Experience leading cross-functional teams and devising meaningful performance metrics to appraise their contribution and effectiveness Authoritative understanding of sportsbook regulations and compliance requirements Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, an innovator, a strategist Outstanding leadership abilities with experience of successfully managing senior-level direct reports, and nurturing talent through your teams Previous experience in effectively scaling operations in a high-growth environment Demonstrable experience with operational transformation or process optimization projects Sophisticated understanding of trading operations and risk management in gaming environments What’s in it for you?
