Overview
Summary: Responsible for implementing regional Safety Instrumented System (SIS) and Turbomachinery Control (TMC) systems delivery strategy within a geographic area, such as part of a country, an entire country, or multiple countries, and may be part of a Hub or the entire Hub for Process Automation. Sets direction for and coordinates a territory Delivery team to achieve the regional Delivery strategy.
The Territory Delivery Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for the commercial direction, organizational leadership, and business alignment of regional SIS and TMC systems project execution activities. This individual will oversee a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-performance control systems for process safety systems, rotating equipment (including gas and steam turbines and compressors) across various industrial applications. Provides Delivery strategy input/feedback for the Hub/Territory to, and working with, the Hub Leader, as well as closing the communication loop back to Regional/Global Delivery leaders as to the needs of the Hub/Territory. Through a staff of project managers and coordinating with Territory Engineering and Services Managers, drives growth of revenue, margin and customer intimacy knowledge consistent with Territory business objectives. Drives to expand presence in both CAPEX and OPEX domains with clients in the Territory. Voice of the client to Delivery; voice of Delivery to the Hub; voice of the Territory to the Regional and Global Delivery functions. As part of the Regional Delivery Leadership team, is expected to engage in strategic planning to meet all regional objectives and is equally accountable as a member of the team for the completion of all Delivery objectives as defined by the team.
What will you do?
Responsible for achieving financial objectives for the Territory with the main focus on revenue value growth, cash, and gross margin improvement. Drives CAPEX and OPEX success across the entire process automation portfolio.
Responsible for client-facing activities of the Hub/Territory Delivery team ensuring client satisfaction and client value in the area of project execution and life cycle support services. Manages a pool of Project Managers, Engineering Managers and Project Assistants to support all project execution activities.
Coordinates with the Field Services Manager to support customer installed base lifecycle management activities.
Provides coaching and development guidance for PMs, PAs, and Engineers for their career development.
Supports the Hub/Territory’s adherence to all global processes and tools as defined by Global Delivery process and tools organization.
Articulates Hub/Territory needs to the regional and global Delivery functions, including resource requirements, tools and processes, skill, talent development and capabilities gaps.
Conducts monthly project and service reviews to ensure financial and customer satisfaction targets are met.
Contributes to proposal development, customer presentations, and contract negotiations.
Leads engineering reviews and risk assessments for critical projects and proposals.
Works with quality manager to ensure high quality execution and delivery of projects.
