is seeking a highly motivated and skilled candidate to fill the position of
Office Associate
in the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office. This is a full-time position. The Office Associate performs intermediate skilled clerical work, providing a variety of administrative, secretarial, and record-keeping duties, including: Serving as a receptionist Preparing, maintaining, retrieving, and receiving records and files Taking and transcribing dictation Typing, word, and data processing duties Assisting the public Additional duties include answering incoming telephone calls, providing routine information to callers, and referring complex questions to the proper person or agency. The Office Associate will also take and transcribe minutes of meetings and hearings, type general correspondence, memorandums, reports, and case records, and assemble dockets, warrants, and court files. The successful candidate will have any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and some office assistance experience.
