Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first Humana’s Service Fund Data & Reporting team is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer 2 to support Dashboards and system enhancements related to our rapidly growing Medicaid product in various new states as well as our Medicare membership growth. This role is 100% work at home in the Eastern Time Zone. The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 will be supporting business-area created technology solutions revolving around Humana’s Medicaid and Medicare growth. Strong communication and organizational skills will be used to collaborate with both business and IT partners in creating and fulfilling development, process, and reporting needs. Analyzes a wide variety of Humana data to derive insights by using various platforms such as, PowerBI, IBM Mainframe, SQL Server, Oracle and/or Cloud

Creates, designs, and customizes data visualizations, including dashboards, charts, tables, and report layouts

Works directly with internal and business partner associates, to identify requirements of system processing improvements and business impact

Writes queries to pull/summarize/analyze data from various data sets and platforms

Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in SQL, or other database systems ie. Access, Oracle, Mongo, etc.

3+ years of experience in data analysis

1+ years' experience in Healthcare related data ie. Provider, Insurance, Membership, etc.

In-depth experience in Microsoft tools and MS Office 365

Experience in assessing complex data sets, identifying trends and generating insights

Experience in verbal and written communication

Preferred Qualifications SQL, Store Procedures, ETL experience

PowerBI, PowerApps experience

Familiarity with various system platforms such as IBM mainframe, Oracle/EDW and MS SQL server databases

Experience with Humana data sets

Knowledge of Value Based Arrangement aspects and Humana Provider Contracts

General knowledge of Humana’s Cloud framework

Additional Information You must be authorized to work in the US without Humana sponsorship as Humana does not provide work visa sponsorship for this role. This is a Remote Role with EST hours. Work at Home/Remote Requirements To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.

Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership.

Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
