Frandsen Bank & Trust is a growing community‑oriented company looking for a highly motivated and results‑oriented Vice President, Retail Banking Manager to lead our Grand Forks, ND retail team. This is a key leadership position and reports directly to the market president. This role combines strong leadership with business development, ensuring our office meets financial, service, and compliance objectives while actively expanding our presence in the community.

Overview Lead the Grand Forks retail team to meet sales, service, and operational goals while expanding the bank’s local presence and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and motivate retail team to consistently deliver on sales, service, and operational goals.

Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Develop and execute strategies to grow deposits, loans, and related services.

Build strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and key market influences to drive new business opportunities.

Proactively identify and pursue prospects through networking, outreach, and referral partnerships.

Represent the bank at community and networking events to enhance visibility and strengthen brand reputation.

Partner with internal teams to provide full banking solutions to clients.

Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

Ensure risk management standards, internal controls, and audit requirements are met.

Desired Skills

5+ years of retail banking experience, including at least two years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Professionally accept and provide strong coaching and feedback.

Ability to proficiently and accurately open all types of depository accounts.

Strong understanding of consumer credit with ability to make personalized credit recommendations.

Proficient use of technology.
