Lawrence Hall is a Chicago-based nonprofit social services agency that provides therapeutic, wellness, and skill development services to youth, families, and neighborhoods affected by lasting trauma. We foster healing and growth through empowerment, respect, safety, and teamwork. Our Child & Family Treatment Center (CFTC) is a 24-hour residential program for DCFS- and ISBE-referred youth ages 8–18 who are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. With a trauma-informed, outcomes-driven approach, we help youth heal from abuse, neglect, and trauma while building the skills they need to thrive. About the Role
Residential Program Supervisor (Evenings): you will ensure safety, structure, and support for both youth and staff during the second shift (afternoon/evening) hours. This is a hands-on leadership role where you supervise staff, manage crisis situations, and help create a stable, supportive environment for young people working toward brighter futures. What You’ll Do
Supervise and coach Youth Treatment Specialists. Maintain safety, schedules, and staff coverage. Respond to crises using trauma-informed practices. Document shift activity and report incidents. Coordinate youth transportation, medical needs, and emergencies. Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree + 1 year related experience OR high school diploma + 5 years in human services. Strong communication and leadership skills. Valid IL driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to pass background and drug screenings. Preferred: Experience in residential care, crisis intervention, or behavioral health. Additional Information
This is a full-time on-site role at our Child and Family Treatment Center, based at our Francisco campus, 4833 N Francisco Ave, Chicago, IL 60625, for the PM shift (1:00pm–11:00pm or 3:00pm–11:00pm), including holidays and weekends. Requires frequent movement throughout the building and the physical ability to kneel and return to standing without assistance, as part of crisis intervention. Compensation and Benefits
