Senior Automation Scientist Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Business Hours Flexibility is required based on the needs of the business. This is an Onsite role.

Job Overview: The Integrated Technology & Engineering Team at Client is seeking a talented and experienced candidate to join their team. The candidate will engage in developing cutting-edge analytical automation technologies in a world-class drug product development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operationalize automation/robotic initiatives within the Product Development organization, including the development of drug product automation activities and troubleshooting support. Manage the automation development project portfolio and introduce fit-for-purpose robotic capabilities across different sites within the organization. Establish automation/robotic solutions by identifying gaps and opportunities within existing development protocols to enhance business efficiency and agility. Provide automation support to formulation and analytical development projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs. Execute flexible methods for sample preparation, data analysis, interpretation, and timely reporting of results.

Qualifications: The successful candidate should have:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline. A Master's or Ph.D. is highly desirable.

Expertise: Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience working with automation/liquid handling workstations; preference is given to Unchained Labs, Chemspeed, and Hamilton Systems. Strong expertise in writing scripts for liquid handlers is a must. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in general-purpose programming languages (e.g., VB, Python, Perl, R, C++/C#) are preferred. Knowledge and experience in typical analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, CE-SDS, iCE, and high-throughput purification are desirable. Ability to troubleshoot liquid handling device-related issues.
