Job Description
The Grace Kids Campus Director is responsible for leading our growing ministry for children ages birth through 4th grade at a specific Grace Church campus while contributing to and receiving input from Campus Support. This person provides a framework for communication and teamwork among leaders, volunteers, parents, and children. This person ensures the team executes a high-quality, dynamic, fun, Christ-glorifying, and Bible-centered Grace Kids environment. The position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent management skills, and the ability to lead effectively and communicate the heart of Grace Kids to others. Responsibilities/Duties
Enthusiastically committed to drawing children in the church and the community to Jesus Christ. Equip and empower parents to be the primary discipler of their children. Continually shepherd the kids in the elementary ministry to follow Jesus and oversee and develop volunteers in this value. Ensure consistent and effective communication between volunteers and parents. Ensure Grace Kids stays relevant to its culture. Execute the vision for a vibrant and growing Grace Kids experience. Oversee recruiting, training, evaluating, shepherding, scheduling, and recognizing all those serving in Grace Kids elementary ministry. Build, lead, empower and shepherd leadership teams for areas such as classrooms, baptism, and worship. Manage the annual Ministry Plan and budget, and track budget. Work with Campus Support with the implementation of policies and procedures of the elementary ministry. Work with Campus Support and provide oversight of the implementation of weekend service classroom and worship curriculum. Help coordinate the transition of 5th-grade children from Grace Kids ministry to Grace Students (G56). Assist in the implementation of SBO and SBO JR. Provide vision, leadership, and implementation of the Grace Group model in the elementary ministry. Demonstrate a great love for God and his people and for our children, parents, and volunteers. Attend staff-wide and ministry-specific meetings and training. Skills/Experience
Minimum of 2 years of ministry experience. Effectively lead volunteers and children; direct or indirect. Great relational skills: friendly, calm, and professional. Outstanding communication, organizational and team-building skills. Successfully managed projects to completion. Experience using Microsoft Office, Planning Center, and ProPresenter preferred.
