Director of Children's Ministry - Pathway Church
Pathway Church in Beaver Falls, PA, located 40 miles north of Pittsburgh, is known for its significant family ministry. The ideal candidate will have a deep personal faith and character aligned with the church’s mission and vision. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide vision, leadership, and oversight for the children’s ministry. Supervise paid staff, including assistants, preschool director, midweek director, and special needs coordinator. Develop teams to support the ministry’s operations. Recruit, train, and develop leaders and volunteers. Organize outreach events for kids. Offer pastoral care to children and parents in collaboration with staff. Evaluate and update curriculum and programs as needed. Ensure safety and security in all children’s activities. Lead in other ministry areas as appropriate and time permits. QUALIFICATIONS: Irreproachable character, sound in faith and doctrine, aligned with the Evangelical Free Church Statement of Faith, and committed to church constitution and bylaws. Ability to set a compelling vision aligned with church purposes. Proven skills in recruiting, equipping, and leading ministry teams and volunteers. Desire for lifelong learning and knowledge of ministry needs and processes. Bachelor’s degree and relevant ministry training. Team-oriented, able to work cooperatively and follow leadership. 3-5 years of relevant experience recommended. Reports to:
