The Director of Corporate Safety will enhance safety protocols and leverage their expertise to build client trust and drive sales. Job Description Position Title Director of Corporate Safety Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs for power line maintenance, storm restoration, traffic control, and substation services, ensuring compliance with OSHA and NERC standards. Conduct safety audits, training, and risk assessments for all operations. Engage with potential clients (utilities, municipalities, contractors) to promote Frankart’s safety-focused services as a competitive differentiator. Support business development by identifying sales opportunities and building relationships with clients, emphasizing safety expertise. Represent the company at industry events to network and pitch services. Collaborate with operations teams to align safety protocols with client expectations. Assist in preparing proposals and negotiating contracts for power line and substation services. Qualifications Experience in power line maintenance, storm restoration, traffic control, or substation operations. 5+ years of experience in safety management in the utility or construction industry. Familiarity with Ohio’s utility market and regional regulations (preferred). Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, engineering, or a related field (preferred). 2–3 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in utilities or related sectors. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. OSHA 30-hour training. Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) (preferred). Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events. Valid driver’s license; Class A Commercial Driver’s License is a plus.
