The Economics Program in the Division of Social Science Division at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is inviting applications from economists with outstanding research records. Strong preference will be given to senior candidates. The Economics faculty at NYUAD is ranked among the top departments in Asia, and it offers a dynamic and diverse environment. The position comes with generous research support. NYUAD expects successful candidates to publish in high quality internationally refereed journals. The position features a standard teaching load of three courses per year. The terms of employment are very competitive and include generous start-up and on-going research funds, as well as housing subsidies and educational subsidies for children. Appointment will begin in September 1, 2026, subject to final budget approval. We will consider applicants with an active research agenda in all areas of economics. This position requires a Ph.D. in Economics. We seek individuals who have a strong record of scholarship, teaching, and mentoring, and have the ability to develop and lead high-quality research.
