We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join an agile team focused on engineering excellence in Capital Markets and Brokerage Technology. This role emphasizes test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration/delivery, and collaboration across technical and business teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong development background and a proactive approach to teamwork and delivery. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, document, and execute manual and automated tests for trading applications. Collaborate with technical teams to improve processes, protocols, and standards. Develop automated tests and software tools aligned with business requirements. Apply test-driven design principles to debug and validate automated solutions. Deliver maintainable and accurate test automation code. Prioritize and execute system testing efforts in collaboration with project teams. Use SQL to mine and manipulate data for test scenarios. Define and maintain automated regression tests for ongoing and future projects. Document and report system testing issues using standard defect tracking tools. Identify and escalate defects appropriately. Support Agile/Scrum implementation within the team. Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of software development experience. Proficient in Java, Spring, and RESTful services. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Serenity, and Cucumber. Familiarity with Jira and Jira Align. Knowledge of brokerage trading (Equities, Short Trading, Options, Fixed Income). Strong collaboration and communication skills. Experience with TSO/3270 Mainframe – a plus. Experience with Web Services, ReadyAPI, or Rest Assured – a plus. Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Ability to mentor and support test automation adoption across teams.
