Banquet Cook II - Conrad Washington, DC (HOT0BYD5) Stay inspired by joining the Conrad Washington, DC, a Forbes 4-Star hotel with 360 rooms, 32,000 square feet of banquet space, and multiple F&B outlets including a signature restaurant, rooftop bar, lobby bar, club lounge, and in-room dining. This is a full-time Cook II position with various shifts (weekdays, weekends, and holidays). Work Location
Conrad Washington D.C., 950 New York Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20001 Responsibilities
Prepare food items including, but not limited to, salads, fruits, dressings, fish items and appetizers, according to designated recipes and quality standards Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on guest checks to ensure consistency; visually inspect, select, and use only food items ideal for preparation Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner Check and control proper storage of products, monitor age and quality of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality; keep refrigeration equipment, storage, and work areas clean and clutter-free, complying with health department regulations Ensure knowledge of menu and food products Stock and maintain designated food stations Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen Prepare daily prep lists for supplies and food items for production Other duties as assigned What we are looking for
