Director, Global Professional Education and Sales Training – IHFM Many structural heart patients suffer from heart failure with limited options. Position Summary: Manage US professional and commercial education activities as it relates to IHFM products. Deliver the IHFM Institute (HCPs) and IHFM University (Commercial Reps, Clinical) brand experience by executing an education curricula comprised of renowned faculty and world-class training sites. This is a leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing education programs. Responsibilities

Direct activities with overall departmental responsibility of developing systems, planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, recommending and implementing changes to methods through several direct reports that may include people managers Develop and execute a professional education strategy for HCPs and training Commercial reps that support business goals and product launches. Create and deliver diverse educational programs (regional and national workshops, sales events and online learning); stay current on adult learning principles; build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders Lead a team, manage their development, and ensure all programs meet regulatory and accreditation standards, including compliance with corporate guidelines Establish KPIs to measure program success and continuously improve programs to higher standards Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Compliance, R&D and Sales) and build external relationships with HCPs and professional societies; communicate effectively with stakeholders Manage budgets and resources, assess courseware, demo units and simulation environments, and manage external consultants and developers Develop training materials, curricula, LMS training systems, sites and faculty for courses worldwide Execute in-person training courses, seminars, webinars, and other digital courses; distribute content to reps, clinical teams and HCPs worldwide Develop IHFM Institute (HCPs) and IHFM University (Commercial Reps, Clinical) brands by executing an education curricula with renowned faculty and top training sites Develop key relationships with physician leaders and executive leaders including Sales, Regional, and cross-functional leaders Perform other incidental duties Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field and related experience in marketing; skill levels exceeding previous level Demonstrated track record in people management Experience working in a regulated industry preferred Preferred

Proven project management leadership skills Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills; high discretion/judgment in decision making Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to negotiate and manage relationships to drive objectives Demonstrated performance across multiple projects and ability to manage resources to meet timelines Expert understanding of product labeling content approval processes, regulatory guidelines and legal boundaries Understanding of medical device asset creation and training content regulatory requirements Ability to direct teams and provide coaching and feedback Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and escalate issues appropriately Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to articulate and create the vision of the business unit Conduct technical product briefings for cross-functional teams (e.g., complaints, Engineering, regulatory, quality, clinical) Regularly interact with major customers to train and demonstrate product benefits and clinical best practices Committed to quality client service, proactive and responsive to client needs Develop cross-functional relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness Develop relationships to influence change Solicit input from team members for future product iterations Adhere to company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules); take appropriate safety measures Compensation and Benefits

Aligning our business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs. For Illinois, the base pay range is $156,000 to $221,000 (highly experienced). Pay depends on qualifications, education, and prior experience. Applications accepted while posted on our Careers site.
