Vascular Neurologist - Inpatient ChristianaCare, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is actively recruiting a BE/BC Vascular Neurologist to join our well-established, physician-led practice. ChristianaCare is one of the busiest stroke centers in the region treating more than 230 patients with TNK and taking more than 225 patients for mechanical thrombectomy this past year. This individual will join a team of 10 Vascular Neurologists and Neurohospitalists overseeing acute stroke care and general consults at ChristianaCare. Separate services exist for consultative work, including acute stroke management, a primary stroke service, and a stroke follow-up clinic. In-person work is at the Newark and Wilmington campuses. The ChristianaCare Newark campus is the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in the state of Delaware, having been awarded all of the highest possible awards by the American Heart Association for the past 5+ years. The Wilmington campus is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center. Our program includes a dedicated Neurointensive Care Unit staffed by neurocritical care physicians, a transitional Neuro Unit, the only epilepsy monitoring unit in the state, as well as acute inpatient beds staffed by neuro-trained nurses and allied health specialists. Responsibilities and Qualifications

The candidate must have an M.D., D.O. or equivalent, and BE/BC Neurology; BE/BC Vascular Neurology preferred. The candidate must have strong clinical skills, quality communication skills, and experience working with a diverse population of patients is preferred. About ChristianaCare
