Are you looking for a challenge? We are seeking a Food Service Worker to support Terrestris Global Solutions’ ground operations in Los Alamitos, CA. This work is on weekends from 4:00 AM to 11:00 AM. What will the Food Service Worker do?
As the Food Service Worker you will assist catering services personnel in preparing, serving, and distributing food to customers or clients in a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
Responsibilities Assist in transporting prepared food into dining facilities from delivery vehicles.
Conduct light food preparation (slicing of fresh fruits and vegetables, etc.).
Serve food to customers in a cafeteria-type setting.
Assist in the transportation of trays and service equipment from dining facilities to delivery vehicles.
Conduct general cleanup and sanitation of food service areas.
Assist in the removal of refuse from dining facilities and transportation to approved receptacles.
Qualifications Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship.
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Current ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain before work commences.
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or kitchen work.
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math skills for portioning and serving.
Physically able to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
