Speech Language Pathologist
to join their growing team in
Cupertino , CA. The Speech Language Pathologist performs comprehensive evaluation and treatment as prescribed by a physician, to improve or restore a patient’s ability to function independently. He/she will plan, organize, develop, and administer speech therapy services to ensure safe and effective treatment plans for patients. Job Description
Provides treatment programs to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities within each patient’s structural or functional limitations Utilizes appropriate evaluation tools and completes accurate evaluations. Supervises Clinical Fellow and other SLPs in direct patient care and patient-related activities. Writes specific, objective documentation, which is outcome-oriented and details the patient’s needs, potential to benefit from treatment, and progress achieved to date. Includes specific, objective measurable goals. Manages Medicare Medical Review and Denials process in conjunction with Director of Rehabilitation and therapy staff Qualifications
Availability to work full-time as a
Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
( SLP ) in California. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited Speech Therapy program. Knowledge in Speech-Language Pathology evaluation and treatment as they relate to medically based speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Ability to supervise and direct assistants and aides. Knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to work with all types and levels of staff and patients. Experience in a skilled nursing facility CPR certified Additional Information
