As a Banquet Server at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the event as well as serving food and beverages to our guests, set-up, upkeep, break down, and cleaning functions.

What will you be doing?
Serve food and beverages to guests and set up/break down banquet rooms per contract and Manager's instructions.
Prepare work areas (e.g., coffee and bread stations) before functions.
Handle guest requests, seeking assistance from Manager/Supervisor when needed.
Communicate regularly with Manager/Supervisor on work progress.
Maintain cleanliness in banquet rooms, public areas, and storage.
Manage inventory of supplies.
Uphold the high standards of quality and service that are expected of a four-diamond resort.
Perform other assigned duties as directed by Manager.
What do you bring to the role?
Past experience in hotels, restaurants, banquets or customer service is a plus
Willing to work weekends
Has reliable transportation to and from work
Loves meeting new people and interacting with guests
Enjoys proactively using their creativity to personalize the guest experience
Passionate about people and travel
Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner at all times
