The Lead Clinician (bilingual in Spanish and English) conducts mental health assessments, provides ongoing individual and group counseling services, screens for human trafficking concerns and provides crisis intervention services.
Responsibilities
The Lead Clinician oversees the clinical aspects of youth in the shelter program and assigned clinicians with regard to compliance to clinical documentation, adherence to human trafficking screening, and compliance to state, federal and Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) regulations.
The Lead Clinician provides clinical guidance to Case managers, Care Team Coordinator, Unit Supervisors and direct care staff.
Participates in and provides professional support in Care Team meetings; and advises the Care Team concerning mental health issues and trauma-informed, behavioral management interventions.
The Lead Clinician is responsible for the preparation of goal oriented diagnostic assessments, clinical staff trainings and program enrichment.
The Lead Clinician is a direct liaison to the Care Team Coordinator and Program Director
Serves on the on-call crisis rotation and fulfills all the tasks of a full-time clinician
Qualifications Requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or University.
Current Independent Licensure – LPCC, LCSW, LMFT or other applicable Kentucky licensure.
