Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage and execute daily picking, shipping, and receiving operations. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of inventory processes, maintaining supplies, and assisting in daily workload preparations. The ideal candidate will be computer-savvy and capable of adapting to various inventory management systems with minimal training.
Responsibilities
Perform daily picking activities and inventory management.
Prepare documents for and execute daily shipping and receiving processes.
Generate and conduct cycle counts, and maintain necessary supplies.
Assist in preparing and verifying the completion of daily workload activities.
Research and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
Utilize computers for inventory tracking and demonstrate proficiency in all required software.
Receive, unpack, and deliver goods while maintaining accurate records in a database.
Accurately package, label, and weigh items for shipment, ensuring proper methods and charges.
Assemble containers and crates, pack goods, and prepare shipping instructions.
Coordinate with other departments to provide comprehensive inventory support.
Ensure all inventory documentation is complete, accurate, and correctly filed.
Identify and address gaps in inventory processes, and manage filing systems effectively.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in SAP/WMS with 1-2 years of experience.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
Experience in shipping and receiving, stockroom, inventory management, and material handling.
Ability to operate RF scanners and other inventory tracking equipment.
Solid writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing or warehouse management is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and address inventory process gaps.

Work Environment
The work environment includes a large machining and assembly shop with engineering and parts/repair operations on-site. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday overtime. The role offers the possibility of conversion to a permanent position, subject to corporate approval.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
