Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Louisville, KY
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and business teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements. Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to clarify requirements and align expectations. Collaborate with development, QA, and design teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements. Perform gap analysis, process mapping, and propose improvements to business processes. Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and ensuring business objectives are met. Create and maintain documentation including BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and workflow diagrams. Provide ongoing support for implemented solutions, analyzing issues, and recommending enhancements. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure smooth communication. Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. 3-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects (or domain-specific projects if required). Strong skills in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and experience writing user stories. Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, or similar. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
