Bringing together strategic insight and technical horsepower to deliver outcomes that endure.**The Position**The Director of Infrastructure Operations will provide strategic leadership for NorthMark’s global hybrid (cloud + on-premises) infrastructure. This executive role is responsible for defining the vision, roadmap, and operational strategy for observability, automation, and network operations across multiple geographies.The Director will oversee high-performing technical teams, manage multi-million-dollar infrastructure budgets, and serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership. This individual will ensure that NorthMark’s infrastructure is resilient, secure, and aligned with business objectives, while driving innovation and operational excellence in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.**Responsibilities:*** Provide enterprise leadership for global hybrid (cloud + on-premises) infrastructure operations.* Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for observability, automation, and network resiliency.* Oversee 24/7 operational performance, ensuring infrastructure availability, scalability, and compliance.* Drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code and automation practices, with emphasis on Azure and Terraform.* Partner with executive leadership, security, compliance, and product engineering to align technology with enterprise priorities.* Own vendor relationships and negotiate contracts; manage multi-million-dollar infrastructure budgets.* Lead enterprise initiatives for network security, patching, and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001).* Build, mentor, and scale high-performing global teams; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.**Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (advanced degree preferred).* 10+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure and network operations, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.* Proven track record managing hybrid (cloud + on-premises) infrastructure across global locations.* Expertise with network monitoring and observability platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, DataDog, Splunk, Prometheus).* Strong knowledge of enterprise network architectures, protocols, and connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute).* Demonstrated success with automation and orchestration (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines).* Executive-level communication skills with proven ability to influence across C-suite and business functions.* Experience managing budgets and complex vendor relationships.* Strong background in security frameworks, compliance, and risk management.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Advanced certifications (CCNP/CCIE, Azure networking, Terraform).* Experience integrating observability with CI/CD pipelines.* Previous leadership of global teams in high-growth, dynamic organization*It is impossible to list every requirement for, or responsibility of, any position.
