Software development Engineer

Job Description Key job responsibilities Design and Implement Communications Components, Applications and Services Partner with the Satellite, Networks and Security engineering teams Design components, services, and relevant data models Collaborate with engineers across the organization to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate critical e-Commerce software Work on initiatives building e-Commerce functions on AWS infrastructure and help implement best practices for software development. Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring health of systems. Help engineers and build solutions which are required for provisioning and operating an Internet service provider. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience with Java based SDKs, AWS based development, API design, JSON Experience with Java programming language and ability to pick up new languages AWS Cloud native skills and AWS tooling Ability to utilize AI to increase speed of development and delivery experience building services using AWS strong proficiency with Java and Kotlin, strong ability to dive deep, troubleshoot independently, and showcasing ownership for their tasks PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Base pay range: $60.00/hr - $70.00/hr Seniority level
