Information Technology Director
to provide strategic leadership, planning, and management of all IT operations across the organization. Position Goal
The
Information Technology (IT) Director
is responsible for overseeing infrastructure, cybersecurity, data systems, user support, and technology innovation to support HACAP’s mission and operational goals. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The IT Director will: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organizational goals. Lead long-term planning for infrastructure upgrades, software systems, and digital transformation. Collaborate with executive leadership to identify technology needs and opportunities. Oversee the organization's network architecture, ensuring reliable and secure access to systems. Manage system backups, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity protocols. Maintain compliance with federal funding requirements, including data privacy and security standards. Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures. Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to incidents. Supervise IT staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development. Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and service providers. Negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and IT services. Ensure responsive help desk support and technical assistance for all staff. Develop training programs to enhance digital literacy and system usage. Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred). Minimum 7 years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Experience in nonprofit, government, or federally funded environments strongly preferred. Knowledge of enterprise systems, cloud platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. What We Are Proud To Offer You
