Job Description
We are seeking a Data Modeler to support data modeling needs for MDM/BPM Workflow project development, under the guidance of the MDM & Data Design team leads. The primary responsibilities of this role include: Converting preliminary logical data model to 3rd normal form physical model Performing data modeling for new relational database; collaborating with team lead/senior designer to create data solutions for business and systems requirements Adhering to, and enforcing, data standards and best practices Attending requirements gathering meetings with team lead, senior designer, application teams, Database Administrators (DBAs), and/or business partners to understand business needs Creating Functional & Technical Documentation for all database structures Supporting application teams with data identification and analysis Converting logical data model to physical model and database in development environment; transitioning to DBAs for test and production environments Creating and maintaining Metadata, including table/column definitions Preparing, maintaining and publishing documentation, including business transformation logic (Source-to-Target Mappings), data models and data dictionary reports Additional Information
