DEKA Research & Development, located in Manchester, NH, is looking for a highly motivated Software Test Engineer to join a software team working on the ibot® PMD medical device. How you will make an impact:
Implement a new infrastructure for unit testing for two projects
Update integration testing for embedded software and
our companion PC apps
Create new board assembling tests for updated PCBs
Solve problems, debug issues
Collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines to deliver effective solutions
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or other Engineering degree with Software Engineering experience
1+ years of experience with the following:
Writing software test procedures from software requirements
Implementing automated software integration tests from those procedures
Technical writing
Experience with C++ 14-20 and Python 3.*
RTOS and embedded systems (i.e.: FreeRTOS, uC-OSIII)
Object-Oriented Design
Strong troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated ability to adapt rapidly to changing circumstances and technology
Must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated evidence of individually solving a challenging technical problem
Passion for a job well-done and an intrinsic interest in how things work
The following experience/skills are a bonus:
Batch script creation/usage for automation of tests
VectorCAST test tool
Squish test tool
CAN bus communications
IAR EW 5.* and/or Qt
Surround and/or Gitlab source code management tools
Jenkins
